A custom-designed eighteenth-century house
Article Abstract:
Doug and Lori Small wanted to live in an early 18th century house but could not find one that met their requirements about size, price, location and physical condition. Instead of abandoning the idea of living in such a house, they decided to have one custom-designed. They ended up with a house with an 18th-century look but with 20th-century conveniences.

A true story about peonies
Article Abstract:
Patience, persistence and enthusiasm worked for a couple who wanted desperately to plant peonies in their garden. They bid for more than 200 trees and transplanted them in their own yard. They worked day and night to beat frost and frozen ground and they succeeded.
