Peter-Ayers Tarantino is an architect who opened the first Pottery Barn in Philadelphia, PA. His fascination for diverse cultures, ancient and contemporary design is reflected in his home which features textiles, books, masks, pottery and baskets gathered from his travels.

Flea west, flea east

Items are described that were found at the Rose Bowl flea market in Pasadena, CA, and at the 26th Street flea market in New York City. Among the items found are synthetic shag carpets for as little as $50 each and vintage aluminum movie reels for $30 to $80.
