Article Abstract:
Aaron Rents has acquired five rent-to-own stores that it has franchised in four markets in the Carolinas under a 1995 contract with Affordable Rents. The major rental company said the stores, which generated around $3 million in revenue in the last year, will be managed as company-owned operations within the aaron's Rental Purchase division. Specifically, the five stores are located in Winston-Salem, Wilmington, Florence, SC, and Rocky Mount, NC. Aaron said the purchase will furnish the firm with a springboard for more development in the same markets.
