Anchor gains ovenware space mostly at expense of Pyrex
Article Abstract:
The Anchor Ovenware System is in direct competition with Corning's Pyrex line, and has been gaining rapidly since its introduction last spring. Anchor's aggressive marketing has gained its line shelf space at many discounters, but Corning isn't worried, since the Pyrex name has widespread recognition. Both product lines are designed for use in microwave ovens, as well as conventional and convection ovens.
