Many, but not all of the top 10 bedding specialists experienced growth in 2002. Sleep Fair/Mattress Warehouse filed for Chapter 11. Two other companies also experienced double digit negative sales growth. Select Comfort, Mattress Firm, and Sleepy's are at the top of this list.

Select Comfort has increased its lead as the top bedding retailer in the U.S. Select Comfort posted $311.8 million in 2002 bedding sales, the highest of the Top 25 bedding retailers in the U.S.
