The October 2004 High Point Market went off better than expected for most exhibitors. Despite sluggish retail business and low attendance compared to OctoberE2003, the quality of attendance at the market was extremely good and business wise it wasnEt a bad market at all. Most retailers were looking for fresh ways to liven up their floors with new merchandise and promotions to lure the customer back into the stores.
