Big Lots to roll out furniture in West

Big Lots will open furniture departments in eight Western states in the year 2004 in an effort to expand one of its most productive categories. The departments, which will concentrate on the ready-to-assemble furniture, will be added to 180 stores in California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Washington and Idaho and in the West coast, the departments will operate from San Diego to Seattle.
