Bombay appoints two senior VPs

The Bombay Company, a mall-based specialty furniture retailer based in Fort Worth, TX, has appointed Steve Woodward as its senior vice president and general merchandising manager. The 41-year-old Woodward, former vice president of Service Merchandise's Total Home Stores, substitutes Brent Magnuson at the Bombay Company post effective August 3, 1998. In addition, Bombay Company has also appointed Brian Priddy as its senior vice president, stores, replacing Jerry Cook.

Milliman resigns as Levitz VP
Article Abstract:
Robin Milliman has resigned as vp for merchandise/hard lines of Levitz Furniture Corp in Boca Raton, FL. She was assigned to Boca Raton in 1994 after Levitz acquired John M Smyth's Homemakers. Milliman was named to her position in 1996. She decided to resign because she found it too difficult to commute to Chicago where her family leaves. Milliman said she intends to return to the industry but hopes to remain in Chicago.
