Broyhill names new president
Article Abstract:
Broyhill Furniture will be joined on Sep. 1, 1998 by Dennis Burgette as chief operating officer, president, and eventually as CEO. Burgette is succeeding Brent Kincaid who is retiring as president and is also leaving the post as CEO by the end of 1998. Burgette is slated to leave Broyhill's sister company and part of The Lane Co., Action Inds., where he is currently vice President of sales and marketing. Meanwhile, Action CEO and President Tom Foy, said they are yet to decide whether Burgette will be replaced or if his duties will be transferred to other executives.

Keller, Vanguard teeing up PGA Tour line
Article Abstract:
Keller Furniture and Vanguard will roll out a PGA Tour-licensed collection of case products, occasional furniture and upholstery during the October 1998 market in High Point. The collection may be previewed by some of Kelly's major dealers at the Wolf Challenge gold tournament in Louisville, KY, over the Labor Day weekend. The manufacturer's casual traditional PGA Tour Home Collection in oak features three bedrooms, three dining rooms, a game set three occasional table groups and a few golf themed items.
