Canadians are continuing to export furniture at a faster rate, resulting in an even more favorable "balance of trade." Although the U.S. is still the No. 1 trading partner, Canadian companies shipped well over three times as much furniture to the U.S. in 2000 as Canadians imported from the U.S.
