E.A. Kids program makes debut at dealer conference

Ethan Allen has introduced the E.A. Kids Collection at its dealers conference in November 1998. The furniture maker, which also launched a program of coordinated upholstery, accents and bedding ensembles at the conference, hopes that the collection will put its dealers into the international youth business. The firm is expected to ship the collection to stores beginning summer 1999. Suggested retail prices include $449-799 for single beds and $199-299 for bedding ensembles.

Ethan Allen has introduced its Avenue case goods collection at its retailer conference on November 1998. The furniture manufacturer/retailer, which also launched its E.A. Kids program at the conference, combined Moderne and Art Deco influences for the 20-piece contemporary collection. Suggested retail prices include $2,299 for a cherry dining table and $549 for a side chair. The company expects to start shipment of the collection sometime in summer 1999.

Drexel Heritage and Pinehurst Resort & Country Club will unveil the 100- piece-plus Pinehurst Home collection at the Oct 1997 market in High Point, MA. The collection, built with pine and finished in a medium pine and painted finishes, will feature two distinct lifestyle looks: cottage and club.
