Former owner to reopen two closed Good's stores

The plans for reopening of two of the Good's locations that closed with the bankruptcy filing of Breuners Home Furnishing Corp., by the Richard Good, former owner of Good's Furniture is discussed. The two stores of 30,000 and 20,000 square feet are expected to run in February 2005.

Baer's to add new Florida markets

Baer's Furniture is taking aggressive steps in expanding its presence with the plans to open a number of stores across United States. Orlando is the fastest growing market and the retailer plans to open a store where there is stiff competition from other furniture stores.

A third Off Main Furniture Inc. store was opened by Albert Valdes, Laura Valdes, and Gerald Tidwell in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Two more stores are being planned for Florida, and the owners would also like to take the store nationwide.
