Motion dresses up, but contemporary still mainstay
Article Abstract:
The furniture industry has partly shifted its designs for its motion upholstery product category to include looks that are strong in stationary upholstery. The industry hopes that the inclusion will attract customers that otherwise would not be interested in the category. However, the industry is expected to continue the development of products with casual contemporary designs as part of the industry's two-pronged strategy.
