L&P sales up 9.6%, profits rise 15.9%

Leggett & Platt, the components supplier topper and metal bed maker, has experienced a sales increase of 9.6 percent to 41.3 billion in the first quarter of 2005. The company also experienced a net income increase of 15.9 percent to $ 72.8 million.
