Steve to win
Article Abstract:
Steve Town won the 1995 ILAM Manager of the Year Award because of his commitment, skills in leisure management and innovative ideas in various areas of leisure activities from sports to the arts. Town felt driven to leisure management in order to make an impact on community recreation to counteract crime, isolation and stress. Town developed and implemented the leisure strategy of North West Leicestershire District Council, with his future goals for the region including heritage maintenance, achieving the best external funding possible and further involving the disadvantaged.

Pain, pain, go away
Article Abstract:
Previous sufferers of chronic pain who were given little or no treatment are finding new treatments to free them of the pain. These treatment programs include drugs with new delivery systems that allow the medication to go into the body gradually. Other treatments are physical therapy and counseling.
