Children today, even as young as 8 year olds are product and brand savvy, with clear preferences and strong opinions, with a say in family purchases including that of furniture. The industry is putting a lot of effort to develop the youth category with products pouring in to attract the young, especially with a growth rate of almost 30% a year since the last three years.
