Roberds steps up in wood; retailer debuting several major collections
Article Abstract:
Roberds furniture store chain is introducing several new upscale collections on its stores in fall 1998. The furniture stores now offer a standardized assortment of price points in all market sectors, said its vice president of furniture Bill Benton. The new products include a rework of its upholstery offerings as well as cased goods such as Lane's Eddie Bauer, Stanley's Translation and the Keystone Cherry and Cottage Pine collections from Pennsylvania House. The new offerings will be advertised to level its supply with consumer demand. Roberds has stores in Dayton, OH; Tampa FL; Cincinnati, OH; as well as Atlanta, GA.
