Rug business gets groove back

The October market proved to be one of the better ones in years for the rug dealers. Interior designers and small store buyers were in and business was good. New introductions of machine made Chinese rugs and hand-carved ones were in plenty and made a big splash. And unlike past markets, dealers came with ready-to-deliver the new rugs that were on display at the show.
