Paul Curtin and Catharine Keena's Pacific Heights flat is decorated in a style inspired by Parisian hotel suites. Much of the furniture looks expensive but is actually not. The couple decorated on a budget, refinishing furniture and using fabrics that appeared to be antique, but were modern.

The lake house grows up

A Minneapolis couple built a house designed by architects Martha Yunker and Marc Asmus and decorated by Carol Belz on a lakeside lot. The house combines elements chosen for their age and solidity with an extremely modern round dining room with a movable screen of steel, fir and Plexiglas.
