Schneider forms new fabric mill

J. Schneider Fabrics, headquartered in Hildebran, NC, is established as a supplier of high-end upholstery fabric to upholstery manufacturers and other businesses. The new company will be headed by Chief Executive Officer Josh Schneider, who owned the Taylorsville, NC-based Schneider Mills. J. Schneider builds a world-class weaving production, with the latest facility from yarn to finishing, according to President John Lenox. The company, expected for operation by Sept. 1, 1998, targets the extreme upper end of the market, he said.
