Sealy 3Q sales rise 9.2%, profit up 35%

Archdale, North Carolina based bedding major Sealy has reported that its sales has raised 9.2% in its third quarter because of strong performances by its Sealy Posturepedic and Stearns & Foster lines. Its net income jumped 35%. Sales in the quarter ended Aug. 28 totaled $390 million, compared with $357.
