Serta to Senate: FR sells well
Article Abstract:
The Senate proposes a bill standardizing the flammability concerns of the mattresses produced by the bedding industry. In response to the federal proposal, Serta, a bedding manufacturer, becomes the only testified company by the Senate committee hearing on the flammability of home furnishings products. The research conducted by the company to produce a mattress that can withstand the 60-minute burn test is examined.
