The article discusses how specialty stores are gaining on the Top 100 full-line conventional furniture stores. Although the conventional stores still make up most of all Top 100 sales, 74%, this figure is down from 76% for the full-line stores on 2000's Top 100 and 77% for the full-line stores on 1999's Top 100.

Philly company buys Davis building in High Point

CCM Associates, a Philadelphia warehousing and marketing firm, has acquired the One Davis Center showroom building and intends to rename it Independence Hall. The acquisition is the second showroom deal in recent months by Centers of High Point.
