Therapedic donates sleep sets for U.S. luge team
Article Abstract:
Therapedic International, a bedding manufacturer in Lake Placid, NY, has given 21 sleep sets to the US luge team's house near Park City, UT. The 5,000-sq-ft residential unit, which also serves as the western headquarters of USA Luge, is located 10 minutes away from the luge course that will be utilized during the 2002 Winter Olympics. Therapedic, which will be permitted to use the US luge team's logo in its advertisements and other promotional materials, became a sponsor of the team through the efforts of Jeff Scheuer, whose family owns Mattress Mart of Battle Creek, MI.
