Article Abstract:
Consumer expenditures on bedding and furniture in Canada is expected to increase for the next 10 years at a moderate pace, indicated Strategic Projections writer Thomas McCormack for Aktrin Furniture Information Centre. A higher standard of living throughout Canada will foster higher demand for household furniture after nearly 20 years of dull growth, stated McCormack. McCormack added that productivity levels will rise accordingly with output per worker hovering in the 1% to 1.5% long-term range annually.
