Virtual Furniture acquires W.Va. plant
Article Abstract:
Virtual Furniture will relocate all its production at a 65,000-sq-ft plant in Richwood, WV, that the company has purchased. Since the company debuted at the January 1996 San Francisco market, the company has employed several different production facilities. Virtual Furniture, which will still be based in Balboa Island, CA, will produce wood components at the Richwood facility for assembly at distribution sites that the company intends to put up in the Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles, CA, area, Texas and San Francisco Bay area in California. Likewise, the new Richwood facility will enable Virtual Furniture to manufacture cherry furniture aside from oak furniture.
