A couple asked talented friends to help make their ceremony innovative, yet inexpensive. Friends made invitations, did the decorating and catered the reception. Recipes for beet and lentil salad, roasted red peppers and garlic, potato tortilla, sauteed shrimp and sangria are given. Tips on stocking a bar are included.

A home built on the foundations of an old chicken coop was designed by architect Larry Booth as a second home in a rural area near Chicago. The result is a small but airy two-bedroom home. Many built-ins were used to make the home seem larger. Details are pictured and described.
