Landscape architect James deGray David hired architect Paul Lamb to build an addition to his Austin, TX, home that would provide a transition between his kitchen and his garden. David's garden is comprised of native plants. The results are pictured and described.

Karen and Dennis Klimes remodeled their Medina, WA, farmhouse. The house was plagued with dry rot and had little insulation, so extensive repairs were needed. There were also permit constraints and neighbor concerns because of the house being in a historic area.
