2005 ASTD BEST organizations implement nonlearning solutions
Article Abstract:
An average of 43 percent nonlearning solutions were part of performance improvement programs in 2005 ASTD BEST winning organizations, although learning activities usually make up the majority of performance improvement initiatives in most organizations. The most commonly implemented nonlearning solutions were organizational development, process analysis and talent management, with learning functions like curriculum development, needs assessment and evaluation contributing to the success of the nonlearning initiatives.
