A new direction for the Meyers-Brigs Type Indicator
Article Abstract:
The Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) psychological test identifies and measures core personality characteristics and provides data that is useful in predicting employees' compatibility with each other and for specific tasks. The test associates behavior patterns with certain personality types, then compares their strengths, weaknesses, and talents, and the manner in which they interact. The MBTI is useful for training interviewers because it provides a system for giving and receiving feedback, enhances interviewers' self esteem and self awareness, and identifies individual styles in different interviewers. The MBTI can also be used in organizational development, career planning, communications, time management, and team building. Personnel professionals should not use MBTI data to stereotype people and should avoid arriving at conclusions about personality types too quickly.

A time of change for Hungarian politics?
Article Abstract:
The entry of Hungary into the European Union in May produced little change because most of the adjustments had been implemented earlier. The new Prime Minister, Mr.Gyurcsany intended to take the country to an era of increased economic growth, cut in budget deficits and make Euro the currency in 2010. The government is expected to make changes in the tax structure regarding pension contributions and life insurance, as well as introduce private funding in hospitals and other healthcare institutions despite opposition from the doctors.
