Comparative labor costs in 2002

Article Abstract:

A comparative report of the labor costs of all the surveyed countries is presented. The report reveals a 28% higher hourly labor cost in western Germany in comparison to eastern Germany and other surveyed countries. It highlights that in all the surveyed countries, the non-wage labor costs have increased more steeply than the wages since 1980.
