Don't set the house on fire
Article Abstract:
The Housing Act 2004 has a major impact on fire safety management in all residential property in England and Wales. An important aspect for landlords and others to consider is the fact that certain houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) have to be licensed and the new Housing Health and Safety Rating System applies to all rented property, including HMOs.
