Equality bill provides model for reform
Article Abstract:
The Equality Bill introduced by Lord Lester of Herne Hill QC would render it unlawful to discriminate employees on grounds of age, color, race, nationality, marital status, religion, and sex. Some of the most innovative areas of the bill are employment equity plans, pay equity plans, equal pay, and age discrimination.
