More protection needed for homeworkers

Article Abstract:

A report by Labour Research states that most people in the UK who work at home for a living do so in very uncomfortable conditions as they have no permanent workspace. Labour Research reports that the National Group on Homeworking (NGH) which campaigns for homeworkers' rights, estimates there are around 1 million industrial homeworkers in the UK, and these people are often denied the rights afforded to other workers.

Employers failing to pay tribunal awards

Article Abstract:

A report by the Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) in Wales and England on the legal aspect related to the non-payment of employee tribunal awards by the employers is discussed. The CAB provides suggestions on overcoming this problem.
