Partnership at work: a survey
Article Abstract:
The use of teamwork at work is widespread and felt to be successful in obtaining increased employee commitment and bottom-line improvements. Most corporations use different employee relations approaches, sometimes partnership, sometimes power-sharing and rarely adversarial. Most uninionized companies have employee representation bodies, which tend to discuss the organization as a whole, while partnership mechanismis tend to be more focused and to deal with particular issues. A survey of 50 British busineeses confirmed these results.
