Risk-based approach pivot of new fire safety legislation agrees symposium

Article Abstract:

The importance of the risk assessment on the new fire safety legislation was discussed at the symposium on the Reform of Fire Safety Legislation. The new proposals are to be implemented by the Government by means of a Regulatory Reform Order that aim to create one simple fire safety regime applying to all workplaces.

Bullying can lead to stress related illness and absenteeism, increased staff turnover and reduced productivity also affect the quality of work. Employers' duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 include protecting employees from bullying and subsequent stress.
