Steps to successful fund management for small, medium sized firms
Article Abstract:
The development and administration of pension investment programs require time and expertise, of which small to medium sized companies have little. Thus, a set of investment-oriented steps toward an excellent pension plan is proposed. First, the pension plan should make available various investment alternatives to participants. Second, a set of objectives for each alternative should be set up. Third, plan sponsors should employ the services money managers capable of achieving the set objectives and fourth, trustees must develop a system for the long-term monitoring of the investments.
