Major population in UK own a mobile phone, despite the allegations made against mobile phone technology that the handsets might reduce male fertility and also result into cancer. Over 20 billion person-to-person text messages were sent in the UK in the year 2003 with this figure expected to be around 23 billion in the year 2004 according to Mobile Data Association.

Knowledge of the Highway Code is important both to ensure adherence to the law and to prevent road accident causalities. The Interactive Highway Code (IHC) is a computer-based training (CBT) package that provides some of the motivation needed in order to revise knowledge of Highway Code.
