The ethics game
Article Abstract:
Citicorp has developed The Work Ethic, a board and card game, to teach business ethics to its employees. Citicorp's objectives are to communicate the corporate ethical culture to employees and to encourage ethical behavior through subtle peer pressure. The game, which is divided into the levels of entry-level employees, supervisors, managers, and senior managers, presents employees with ethical problems. The consequences of decisions become more serious at the higher levels. The ethical problems presented by the game include issues such as insider trading, client confidentiality, and sexual harassment.
