A new game requires new technology team
Article Abstract:
Insurance industry information officers are faced with rapid changes in technology and employee skill requirements. They must learn to manage the changes by adopting a strategy of development rather than maintenance. Technical employees will need analytical skills to provide services in the client/server structures, but many insurers are still working with mainframe systems. The hierarchical management structure is less productive than a team approach that allows a freer exchange of information.
