Direct assignment and direct reimbursement: the cost-effective consumer directed dental plans
Article Abstract:
Direct Reimbursement (DR), developed in 1972 and Direct Assignment(DA), developed in 1996 are the two common forms of consumer directed dental care plans. They are self-funded consumer directed dental benefit plans that provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional and managed care plans.
