Purchasing health care value
Article Abstract:
A study conducted by the Washington Bureau Group on Health and Watson Wyatt Worldwide has shown that employers are utilizing various techniques and decision criteria to choose a health care provider. The key to choosing a health provider is the 'value' it adds to its services. Many of today's employers are shopping for more services and facilities in their health care provider due to the limited funds companies put out for their health care programs. One effective technique used by large companies in shopping for a provider is the use of the Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set publication.
