Smaller companies need employment protection
Article Abstract:
Survey results indicate that most smaller businesses mistakenly believe that they have coverage for employment practices liability. Insurers have not adequately addressed small- and medium-sized firms' need for such coverage. Of the about 50 insurers that offer employment practices liability coverage, only a few serve small- and medium-sized firms. Insurers need to have realistic expectations regarding smaller firms and their need for employment practices liability coverage.
