Acting as one? Co-ordinating responses to the landmine problem
Article Abstract:
The co-ordination within humanitarian mine action (HMA), and co-ordination between HMA and other humanitarian and development are discussed. Some thoughts for future, on the importance of effective co-ordination arrangements both within HMA as a sector and between HMA and other sectors of humanitarian assistance are offered.

Balancing risk: village de-mining in Cambodia

The circumstances under which villagers conduct mine clearance is explored. The villagers having high-risk in Cambodia should be provided with training in e-mining techniques.
