Relations between India and the United States needs to stabilize because of the Indian unease over the post-11 September policies and strategies of the Bush administration, and the American support for Pakistan. Both the countries should work more strenuously to realize the strategic and moral implications of their desired alliance otherwise it will lead to further distrust.

China and America: trouble ahead?

The US-China relationship has become curiously disaggregated over last two years. On one hand Washington and Beijing have belaboured their common interests for some reasons of expediency and on the other hand both have been aware that their perspectives and interests have continued to diverge.

The United States has to change the way of interacting with the Iraqi population to successfully break the patronage network in the Iraqi society and build a stable government. It is suggested that this can be done administratively and politically by adopting a 'micro-management' approach.
