Article Abstract:
Civil defense attorney William L 'Bud' Kirk won a landmark victory in 1995 by successfully defending giant General Motors against a lawsuit in Lowndes County, Alabama, renowned for its pro-plaintiff bias. However, he aggressively went after the opposing expert witnesses, and candidly addressed his own case's weaknesses.
