Beyond South Africa: new frontiers in corporate responsibility
Article Abstract:
Multinational corporations need to realise their responsibilities and power to affect international human rights issues. The end of the Cold War allows companies to exert greater influence in the spread of democracy in places such as China, Haiti, Nigeria and Burma. By not purchasing products made through forced labor and refusing to invest in areas that do not meet workplace standards multinational corporations can influence human rights on a global scale.

Sexual harassment: trust and the ethic of care
Article Abstract:
Issues discussed concern the perceptions of men and women towards "hostile environment" sexual harassment, focusing on how people approach ethics in the workplace. The author makes a distinction between an 'ethic of justic' and an 'ethic of care,' suggesting that an 'ethic of care' is more useful when trying to understand the harm experienced by victims of sexual harassment and the morally offensive nature of harassment.
