Boycotts are busting out all over
Article Abstract:
The use of boycotts to object to corporate practices is becoming quite popular in the 1990s. These boycotters are trying new tactics such as full-page advertisements in the press and even disseminating their message through self-produced videotapes. Companies have changed tactics, too, trying to divert attention by emphasizing a company's good deeds and using public relations firms to help them fight boycotts. A list of ongoing boycotts is given as well as an account of the successful boycott against H.J. Heinz over purchasing tuna from fishermen who killed dolphins.

The economics of entry lags: a theoretical and empirical overview
Article Abstract:
Antitrust analysis using entry lags should consider three issues. One issue is the relation of entry lags to barriers to entry. Another issue is how market entry time is affected by company strategies and qualities of the market. The third issue is the variation of entry lags for different industries. There are also problems with the measurement and definition of entry lags.
