Article Abstract:
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the European Low Fares Airline Association (ELFAA) have challenged the validity of the Regulation in judicial review proceedings before the administrative section of the High Court in London. The High Court has referred eight questions to the Court of Justice in Luxembourg, of which the first seven concerned the validity of the Regulation and the eighth requested an interpretation of Article 234 EC, by judgment of 14 July 2006.

Article Abstract:
The judgment of these cases shed light on outcomes of withdrawal of consumer from doorstep selling contract. The court ruled that the Directive on doorstep selling allows withdrawal from credit agreements that finance the purchase of immovable property and clarifies the scope of the Directive, which does not cover contracts for purchase of immovable property.
