Corporate counsel post can lead to power seat

Article Abstract:

Lawyers are finding that a corporate counsel position can involve the highest authority for a company, and job stability is also developing. While 64 corporations showed a decline in counsel staff, much of this was due to divestments, not really indicating job losses.
